Moody Blues

The Moody Blues are a progressive rock band from Birmingham, England. Noted for their fusion of classical music with rock, they have had numerous hits in the UK and US, most notably the all-time classic track "Nights in White Satin". Forming in 1964, they initially had a more rhythm and blues based sound, and gradually developed their signature sound over the next few years before releasing their classic "Days of Future Passed" album. Global success followed, and, barring a 3 year hiatus between 1974 and 1977, the band have been in demand ever since.
