Charlie Daniels Band

An American country and southern rock musician, born in North Carolina in 1936, Charlie Daniels has been performing since the early 1950s. He is most widely known for his 1979 hit 'The Devil Went Down to Georgia'. Since 1974 he has overseen the annual Nashville 'Volunteer Jam' concerts and has been an outspoken political commentator throughout his career.
