Happy Mondays

An alternative rock band from Manchester, The Happy Mondays along with Stone Roses were leaders of the late 80s Manchester club-influenced rave scene. Their music style fuses indie pop guitars with a rhythmic style owing much to house music, funk, and northern soul. often remixed by popular DJs. Featured in the 2002 movie '24 Hour Party People', the band have gone through different incarnations disbanding in 1993 before reforming in 1999 and again in 2000. They released a new album Uncle Dysfunktional in 2007 and continue to perform.
