Quincy Jones

Quincy Jones (born March 14th, 1933) is an American music legend. He has worked with the biggest names in music, as a producer, arranger, conductor, and trumpeter. He has been nominated for 79 Grammy Awards, and won 27, including a Grammy Legend Award in 1991. He is probably best known for his work with Michael Jackson. He first worked with Jackson on the solo album "Off The Wall", and the success of this led to him producing the "Thriller" album - the biggest selling album of all time, with sales of over 110 million copies worldwide. Following this, Quincy Jones also produced Jackson's "Bad" album, before introducing him to Teddy Riley and Babyface. Quincy Jones has worked with a huge variety of musicians, from touring with Dizzy Gillespie as a trumpeter to arranging productions for Frank Sinatra. He has also scored over 30 films, winning several Oscar nominations along the way. One of the all time musical legends, Quincy Jones is still going strong, hopefully for many more years.
