Status Quo

Status Quo are one of the longest running rock bands in the world, and have recorded over 60 chart hits in the UK, 22 of which have reached the UK Top Ten. Hitting the big time in the early 70s, Status Quo have had an amazing run of hits since then; strangely, only one of these, "Down Down" has reached number 1 in the UK. They were also one of the first bands to sign a, now commonplace, sponsorship deal when they put pen to paper with Levi's in 1976. They are still touring as energetically as ever, and still attracting huge crowds wherever they go. Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt were awarded the OBE in the New Year Honours 2009 for their work with various charities.
