The follow-up album from the Mk I lineup of Deep Purple is being reissued, along with the other two albums from the Mk I lineup. After “Shades of Deep Purple”, on the strength of their Top 5 hit “Hush”, the band were rushed back in the studio to record the follow up. While not nearly as successful as “Hush”, the single “Kentucky Woman” did break into the top 40. The lineup for this album would feature Rod Evans (vocals), Jon Lord (keyboards & organs), Ritchie Blackmore (guitars), Nick Simper (bass) and Ian Paice (drums).
