In March 1975, Deep Purple embarked on a European tour. Unbeknownst to the band, guitarist Ritchie Blackmore had decided to leave and these were his final shows with the group he had helped found nearly a decade earlier. Featuring the Mk III lineup with newcomers David Coverdale & Glenn Hughes joining old stalwarts Jon Lord, Ian Paice & Blackmore, this show was recorded in support of “Stormbringer”, the second album to feature the Mk III lineup.
